What the fcuk?

I've just answered a question which included the acronym FCUK (French Connection UK), and to my absolute shock the Yahoo! spell checker suggested that I changed it to.. well you can probably guess what it suggested.

Should such words really be in the Yahoo! dictionary - especially as it will be *****d out.

I will not have any dealings with this company who have deliberately chosen a name resembling foul language. Nor will I make purchases in any shop that sell their wares. If many people did this the company would soon find a more acceptable name.

Reminds me of a company near Borehamwood in Herts, UK, who sell adhesive tapes for stationery. 40 years ago they had the same name as a company manufacturing contraceptives. They changed their name to make themselves more socially acceptable

I think that i should NOT be in the dictionary. Because of course the first reason is cause its a swear word.

If you did use the word it would have asterisks in it anyhow,

    I have a fcuk keyring.

Just tested it . You are right, if it isn't acceptable on Yahoo!, it shouldn't be there.
