NETWORKING HELP please!!?

Once the 2 networks have been connected there is a noticable performance degradation

Could you give any advise or any possible methods to improve the network performance

Discussing possible causes leading to the degradation

Notes recommending possible remidial action

connected using fibre optic cable and a set of routers

    sorry, but without more specific information, my advice is limited.

    What two networks (TCP/IP I presume, what routers are you using, what IP addressing schemes, they both should be different you know)?

    How are they connected (56k connection, T-1, DSL)?

    What routing protocol are you using in each?

    Do you have your static default routes in your core router to route local traffic correctly?
