Is it okay for Paula & Randy to laugh a American Idol contestants?

no, because they know when they go on american idol that they can't sing so they go to be laughed at so they can get they're 2min. of fame!

I don't think any of them have the right to laugh at the contestants. I hate the way Simon Cowell puts some of them down and than last year he made fun of some guys looks also. I am not a fan of that show but occasionally I will watch it for a few minutes here and there.

PS Simon and Randy are not all that handsome themselves and Paula is just weird.

When you sign up for it you kinda know what you're getting into. It doesn't make it right that they laugh... they need to put themselves in that person's shoes... but they don't care. They are rich and famous. But I am sure it is really, really hard not to laugh at some of the contestants who have no business being there.

the people audition/go on the show already knowing the risk of being laughed at, shown on tv, made fun of forever, and everything else! while it can be kinda sad for the contestants sometimes... paula and randy can't help what they consider to be funny... :)

I think that no matter how ridiculous these people are, Paula and Randy and Simon shouldn't be so mean. God says that we are supposed to love each other.

I think some of these contestants set themselves up for criticism though...

Yes, I suppose it is wrong. But they want to go on these shows so it their own fault too.

I don't think it is right for them poor people to get embarrassed on national TV like they do. Paula would not have liked to be embarrassed if she went on AI and someone didn't like her voice

I am sitting here watching right now. I have mixed feelings. I think the contestants know what they are getting into, but I think it is rude to laugh.

Like it or not it is part of that show....You have to remember some of these people know there bad. They just want there few seconds of fame. They know what might happen to them...

I don't like the laughing, even if someone is obviously horrible. I think it's cruel.
