no i dont think so everyone is so polarized with her. people hate her too much. i think she would be ok as prez but im voting for obama. i have wanted him to be president since i read his book the audacity of hope
oh and oc boomer, clinton didnt "damage america".
when he left the white house, there was a 3 trillion dollar surplus, even though reagan and bush sr.'s policys more than quadrupled the national debt. of course george w.'s administration quickly wasted away this surplus and as he leaves the white house america is left deeply in debt

Unfortunately, no--I do not believe HRC can win the general election. I used to be a huge Clinton fan; not any more. The recent attacks on Obama repulse me. Don't get me wrong, I understand that tough primaries make tougher candidates. But the lies and slime coming out of her camp have crossed the line. I will not vote for HRC, even if she wins the nomination.

Yes, I believe she can win, most definitely. The fact is that even those who don't like her very much will vote for her over ANY Republican running. Unless it's McCain. I think he's the only one who might give her a run for her money. People who don't like her keep pointing to polls but I've seen polls too. And they aren't mentioning, for instance, the one that came out over a month ago that showed that Democratic voters, 64% of them, thought she has the best chance of beating the Republicans. Or the Newsweek poll from this summer that showed that those who claimed they would never vote for her had dropped from 50% to 34%. And most of them just don't want to admit that there is such a backlash against Republicans right now for so many reasons, that their theory about her has little chance of holding up. They underestimate her at their own peril.

That is an interesting question and I will say that she will win the democrat nomination, but if anyone can beat her it would be Huckabee for many reasons: He won approx 40 percent of the African American vote while running for Governor or Arkansas. He will also win some hearts of minorities because of the fact that he wanted illegal immigrants who have been in the American school system for their whole lives keep their merit-EARNED scholarships. Well that did not pass, but the intent was there. He is also a good speaker, and relates to many different types of people. Giuliani, McCain, Thompson, Paul and Romney will not beat her period. McCain and Thompson are too old while Giuliani would not attract enough votes from crucial states because his liberal philosophy on moral issues. Romney will not win because of his religion and the fact that he is a flip flopper Paul will not win because people are afraid of change. That leaves Huckabee. He is the wild card of this election and with enough minority votes, he stands a chance.

Yes I do believe Hillary Clinton can win the election. She has moved her focus to the Bush Administration, this will force the Republican contenders to challenge her before one is nominated. More press, more support and money her way.

No, the woman card and race card are being scripted now for use in the last 2 weeks of the election, if needed. (ask Harold Ford Jr. about the use of cards)
And by the way, the American People elected Gore in 2000, not Bush. Gore now has two weeks to make up his mind so we can hopefully do it again.

as long as Diebold, Halliburton, Blackwater, GE, Fox News, News Corp, TimeWarner, Exxon Mobile, CNN, NBC, Viacom, and others still exist, then YES she can (and probably will) win the presidency. But don't be disheartened, my freedom lovers, does not liberty provide the freedom to be an ignorant slave and the freedom to choose to live under tyranny? Totalitarianism IS democracy, since the masses condone it.

Hillary has a very, very, very slim chance of winning the election. I won't say "unelectable", since the American people elected Bush Jr twice (although in his defense...Al Gore and John Kerry weren't very good opponents).
During her time as First Lady, Hillary essentially alienated every Republican with her proclamation of a "vast right-wing conspiracy" against her husband. Since then, it's been proven there was never a conspiracy - and she has yet to apologize for her unfounded accusations.
More recently, she has pretty much alienated every male in the Democratic party with her (and her staff) flinging around the gender card and her crying fit in New Hampshire. Us males don't like people who break down and cry under stress - and if Hillary broke down and cried during a debate, what would she do in office if we received another attack like 9/11?
Also, she has straight up said she'd increase government funding to fight our pending recession, which would likely only accelerate the recession and create bigger government. And she seems to be purposely avoiding questions about how this country will fund her proposed "universal" health care system - which would imply she intends to fund it by further increasing taxes on the American people, but she doesn't want to come out and say it.

Yes. People saw how presidential she is and she clearly, distinguished herself from a bigtime newbie like NObama. She knew what she was talking about while NObama, was busy coming up with jokes to get some reaction from the crowd.
