Why do some people say all Republicans are rich?

Ive got News for you ALL of them are rich Democrats to. have you EVER seen anyone in congress or the senate that was not rich!! And for them most part there All for the rich that's why we get to pay all these taxes. So thy can get even richer as we get Broke!! Don't believe me just look at the price of everything in the pass 3 years see how much its went up. And what do the Republicans and the Democrat do? Not a damn thing except fight with each other on every little thing.. The most do nothing congress in 50 years!!

It's a deception by the Volvo driving, suit wearing democrats making 200,000 or more per year.

Since when is being rich (Republican or Democrat) something to be penalized? Have you ever been hired by a poor man? We strive for a better life, then once you get it, the democrats turn on you and tax you more than everyone else.

Why? Because they can, and your vote only counts for one vote. If you can demonize the rich and tax them, thereby limiting the taxes on the general public, then there are many more votes to be gained in the middle class...hey...you can get elected. It's unAmerican in my book...just another reason to not vote Democrat.

The stereotype comes from rich people wanting to protect their money under Republican tax laws but there is a point at which a 10% tax change doesn't make that much difference.

$200,000. is middle class in NYC. You can get financial aide at a school at that income level. It all depends upon where you are.

Cost of living should be considered when measuring.

Because the Democrats always claim to be the party for the poor, so of course the Republican must by default be the party for the rich.

So you have a bunch of Rich democrats who sell that point and figure out ways to keep/ or make plenty of poor so they can get re-elected.

The wealthiest men in America are also Democrats. It's a bad stereotype.

The democrats want to get the poor vote, so they pretent that they are poor. It is like the farmer who claims he barely gets buy, but buys a $250,000-400,000 (probably more by now) combine every other year, and has a new fleet of pickups for the workers that he pays slave wages.

The dems use the "class" warfare to get votes while intentionally keeping the poor on the government nipple.

As for wealthy republicans. Many would refer to me as one, but I came from below the poverty level. That is one difference in typical republicans with money and dems with money. Most republicans earned their money, Most dems inherited it like the Kennedys.

Jeanette...you must be talking about democrats wanting to keep the poor where they are dependent on the government, rather than them, because all entitlement programs that the dems have put forth punish those who try to improve their situation, and the dems need the poor so that they have voters.

Yes, many wealty people are Republican, but many wealthy people are also Democrats -- John 'Ketchup Hubby' Kerry and Hitlery Clinton readily come to mind.

If the democrats are so poor how did Hillary get so much money in her campaign, more than any Republican ever has.You don't get that much from people on welfare.

As for $200K incomes, I'd like to see 1/4 of that on my W-2!!!
