Male cat very dominating?
my partner and I have 2 cats which be brought together about a year ago, but they are not from the same litter (about 2 weeks apart). My partners male cat is so dominating over my female cat, the main problem is feeding time, all he has to do is look at her and she will walk away from her food scared. If she is on his bed or playing with his toys he will bite or hiss at her until she gives him what he wants.
Both cats are very spolit and when we are home we try to rectify, but nothng seems to work. Any suggestions?
They are both de-sexed, but have been like this since we got them

Well my cats were exactly like that! what i did was ake a spray bottle and fill it with either water or a car scent thing but it has to smell like citrus and what you do is spray water to the cat whenever he does ths, and if your cat is smart, he will eventually get the point. with the car freshener, put it close to his nose bcz cats hate the citrus scent. After, try paying a little more attention to the male s he doesnt feel like showing off to u guys.
This worked with my cat by the way.

Get him Neutered before he Sprays your house, from his Dominant-Role; also, take the female kitty in another room & feed her separately from him. If all else fails, there's also a Fly-Swatter !!!

squirt guns work well for cat training. you don't need to say anything to him-just squirt him when he misbehaves. after he scurries off, try to reassure the female.
