Fun Trivia With Automobiles?

Out of all the parts of your car that you have. what part travels the farthest in the life time of the car?

We are assuming nothing is ever replaced on the car, you drive it until it completely dies. What is the one part that has traveled the farthest?

    Everyone here is an idiot! the keys are part of the car. They travel farther then any other part of the car. we carry them in our pockets as we walk, thus putting travel time on the keys. the person who said the driver, will the driver is not part of the car. They are only the operator. did you come with the car? What an idiot.

    I guess that depends on what you mean by travels...

    The drive shaft spins pretty fast compared to the wheels, so that could be the right answer, although I don't think it travels anywhere.

    I don't see how the bumper would travel any further than the rest of the car, it may arrive at a point a millisecond before the rear bumper but it has not traveled any further. When it started it's journey (wherever you consider that) it was still the same distance "ahead" of the rear bumper, so wherever it stops it has not traveled any further.
