Reyes - He is only 23 and is already the best SS in the whole MLB.
Wright - He is EXCELLENT. 3rd best 3rd baseman in the whole MLB! Only 23 or 24 as well!
Joba Chamberlain - I mean, come on how can you stay this guy is NOT going to be a superstar?
Hughes - He has had jaw dropping stats in the minor leagues. He can be the next Randy Johnson.
Ryan Zimmerman - 24 and 20 homers in his first two years in the majors and this kid is only 23. He was also on the 2004 USA Baseball team.
Fransico Lirano - If he can bounce back from his 2006 injury, he will be one of the most dominate starters in the majors. He sitll has time to have.
Scott Kazmir - Although people alrealdy condsider him to be a 'star' I dont even think he is in his stardom phase yet. He is still only 23 and has about 1 or 2 years until his prime. Even though he is 23 and has been playing for only 3 years on the worst team in the league, he has still managed to put up a 35-29 record with a 3.64 ERA. In the minors he went a career 9-12 with a 2.41 era. This kid is something special.
Stephen Drew - In his two MLB seasons he has posted a .259 average. Witch is average for a rookie but I think he can be something special with his .315 career batting average in the minors and 31 HR's in only 167 games. I believe he can be the D-Backs next big thing.
Joe Mauer - This kid will dominate for years to come. In his SECOND year as a big leaguer he won the MLB batting crown with a .347 average. Pretty impressive right? If your not impressed with that, how bout a .331 average in the minors over 5 seasons? He has accomplished so much and he is still improving at the age of 24.....
Jacoby Ellsbury - You just cant say anything bad about this guy. He is the next Derek Jeter. He has everything except batter witch isnt a problem condsidering he had a .353 average in 33 games with the Red Sox in 2007. He also had a average of .406 in 56 games in college.
Dustin Pedroia - How can I NOT include him? He won the rookie of the year award witch was no surprise. He had a .316 average over 130 + games. I mean...That is amazing.,
He also batted + .400 in NCAA college division and A-Ball. Sure A-Ball and NCAA are low divisions, but those are still impressive numbers. You got yourself a winner Boston.
Prince Fielder - He will end up with over 500 HR's when hes done. Only 23 and already 80 HR's in 354 games. 2ND full season and he chases A-Rod in the HR race and is the NL HR champ. A born winner.
Ryan Braun - Another one out of Milwaukee. He is just amazing as well. Rookie year smacks 34 HR's and posts a .324 average. The Brewers 1st round draft pick was well spent.
Chris Ray - 49 Saves in first 3 years along with a 3.19 ERA. I dont think hes going to be a Maraino Reveria or something like that, but I do think he could end up with about 200 saves.
Cole Hamels - 3.39 Era and 15 wins in 2nd season. He also had great stats in the minors. One of the biggest future stars on the list.
Brian Mccann - .298 Average in 3 MLB seasons + 47 HR's in 328 games. Also a .988 FP at backstop and a silver slugger award.

All these guys have under 5 years of MLB experience and should be around for at least the next 10 years.
As for the really new players, I can see guys like Joba Chamberlain, Phil Hughes, Clay Buchholz, Troy Tulowitzki, Ryan Braun and James Loney being top notch players a few years from now.

A new class of young stars has already arrived.
Carl Crawford, Grady Sizemore, Miguel Cabrera, Victor Martinez, Francisco Liriano, Cole Hamels, Josh Beckett, Ryan Braun, Prince Fielder, Ryan Howard, Alexis Rios, Hanley Ramirez, Jose Reyes, David Wright, Alex Gordon, Jon Papelbon.
To compare these players to current stars is almost unjustifiable as each player has a very unique style of play and skill set.
Young prospects include Maybin, Milledge, Ellsbury, Bucholzt, Chamberlain, Bailey, Garza.. endless!!
The allstars are constantly being replaced by younger, (more talented?) players... as MLB continues to increase the talent search in Asia, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, the influx of talent will continue to increase. Looking back 100 years ago, there was not nearly as much talent in the majors spread amongst so many teams.
There's too much young talent entering the league to even name

any one of those guys could one day be an all-star. Some of them, Utley, Martin, Fielder, already are. It will be very sad to one day see baseball without A-Rod, Griffey, Ichiro, Pujols, and all those great players. Enjoy your time with them while you can!

Some people have put a lot in 2 this ? I think you need to look at the farm systems . You need to watch the marlins, cubs(when they leave there farm teams) and the dogers please don't think the players from japan are young talent like rookie of the year material but my friends all stars come and go we may never see some of the greats so to compare is to great for any of us . New players and generations will make this game grater if we can get past the steroids era and not let some players ruin the game.

it style of sounds like no one is taking observe to the Mariners crop of youthful gamers. i'm of course biased provided that i'm a fan, yet youthful Michael Pineda has a 2.sixty 5 era & a .198 BAA in 102 innings this twelve months. he's the sparkling-shrink rookie of the twelve months interior the yankee League and that i don't see how every physique can shop the guy off their acceptable 5 gamers of the destiny record. shop a watch on acceptable prospect and sort 2 everyday draft p.c.. in 2009, Dustin Ackley, besides. He have been given noted as up a pair of weeks in the past and has been doing nicely. That stated, my acceptable 5: 5. Jaime Garcia 4. Dustin Ackley 3. Starlin Castro 2. Michael Pineda a million. Buster Posey Honorable mentions: Jason Heyward, Jeremy Hellickson, Zach Britton, Justin Smoak, Jemile Weeks, JP Arencibia, Stephen Strasburg via how, do not comprehend in case you will evaluate the Pittsburgh Pirates' Andrew McCutchen to already be a celebrity or not, yet while not, he's probable sort a million or 2 on my record.
