ok my last period was april 23rd-28th- 2007- so im due jan 28th 2008 , but me and my husband tryed may 7th so my son should be here feb 8th , do all women go by there last period? its all ways right?- hope you understand what im trying to say? and this is my 2nd- but dr says im 2 cm and babys head is faceing down real low, i do feel lighting kinda at times, anyways thanks to all you ladies and have a great and blessed nite to all :)

if you r due in jan and did'nt have a period for may it sounds like you concieved in april right before your period or either right after. doc's do go by your last period.give or take 10 days. that is why they say pregnancy is 40-42wks. if u go til feb 8 that would put you at 40- 42 wks.

Yes, the babys due date is calculated from the first day of your last period. This is just how it is done. In real time you wouldn't really have gotten pregnant until 2 weeks after the first day of your last period, as this is when you ovulate, so that is how you have worked it out, but all health care professionals work it out the first way, from the first day of your last period. Anyway, babies are considered full term from 37 weeks pregnant to 42 weeks pregnant, so don't cancel everything in expectation of the 28th! Good luck and enjoy your baby

yes that is right i am due the 29th of Jan 2008, this is my second child he wasn't planed it just happened so i did not know any dates of my last period but when i went for my 12 week and 20 week scans that is what they worked it out as for me by the size of the baby's head. Hoped this helped.

You go by when your last period was. So the January 28th due date is correct.
