Yes, it is likely that she is lying.

Think about it, how could she " forget " to tell you about something as important as a broken bone ?

If it was a bruise or something less serious then that would be understandable, but a broken bone. . . .

I suggest that you inform Social Services.

There could be abuse going on and as a parent it is your duty to try and protect your child.

Ignoring the issue or being in denial will not solve anything and could result in some serious, regrettable consequences.

When in doubt, take the kid to the peditrician to have an X-Ray done, and then you can get the right answers you're looking for... That way, then you can know exactly how long it was broken, etc. Dont jump to conclusions, Im a mother of a boy, and he ALWAYS hurts himself doing SOMETHING, just exploring and having a good old time. And Anytime he even has a small RASH, my ex and inlaws *****, and there is NO reason.... Kids will be kids, u know?

Take her to a doc right away. You would know if her arm was broken at birth. The doc would have told you then. Go with paper work showing you have joint custody when you go to the doc. Explain everything you said here to the doc.

Sounds to me like that baby's been hurt. Next time you have a visit with your daughter and it's an overnight one take her to the doctor. If she is abusing the baby then all rights will be turned over to you.

You must take the child to doctor to get the child hand sorted out than finding how it happened, it has happened if at all your mom has caused it am sure she will never repeat it as she will also feel guilty for the mistake if she has caused it.

I would be concerned too. Take her to the doctor yourself to find out what is really going on.
