The great rebate check illusion?

Do you think the rebate checks are not really 'free money' but in a way are a type of forced 'credit card-like borrowing'?...the banks need you to keep borrowing and going further into debt and since you are not, the govt will borrow all this money, give it to you, and you will still owe it someday, and the banks get their wish.....comments?

Is it a great illusion to only keep the banks making profit from you?...I bet alot will go straight to the banks as people use the $800 to pay debts.....

what a shame that it has come to this.

Like when the minimum wage went up gas went up 50 cents a gallon, expect the same thing to happen. It will only create more inflation.

Forget about the banks. $500-800 might not seem like a lot, but it will put 100 billion into economy which will help.
