Anyone have a breast feeding to bottle recommendation?

My daughter will be returning to college after giving birth to her son recently. She will be pumping and we need a good alternative so baby doesn't become confused with the new method of feeding. We are looking at The First Years Breastflow Bottle:

Is this truly the most realistic substitution, or is there something better you can recommend?

You are just going to have to buy a few different brands and see which one your grandson likes. I nursed for 10 months but also pumped and used a bottle so other people would be able to feed him. My son liked the Playtex nursing system that used the bags and also the Playtex Ventair (the wide neck bottles not the thin). I tried the first years breastflow and he hated it. He also didn't like the Dr. brown bottles at all. So it is really just trial and error. Hope that helps.

I have heard great things about the breastflow bottle from breastfeeding moms. I would also suggest getting one of several to see what you can get him to take. If you will be doing the child care while your daughter is in class I would suggest you try to introduce the bottle with your daughter out of the house. Have her take a short walk or run to the store while you try.

The dr browns bottles are said to be good as well.

My 2 month old daughter seems to transition well from breast to bottle when I use the playtex drop in nurser system. I tried the Advent bottles and Dr. Brown, but she just got nipple confusion. My lactation consultant reccommed the playtex bottles and she said to use silicone(clear) slow flow nipples because the yellow ones have a certain taste that the baby get used to and they will start to refuse the breast because of this.

I have the Breastflow Bottle. As a newborn, my daughter was able to go between breast / bottle with no confusion at all. I highly recommend it.

You kinda just need to test out different bottles. My daughter has both Avent and the Nuk Gerber bottles.. The Avent is recommended for breastfeeders, and the Nuk Gerber one is designed to be more like the breast.

mine like the playtex nursing system with the drop in liners they have fast and slow flow nipples, we use the slow ones and there doesnt seem to be a problem with nipple confusion. i mostly breastfeed and give her a bottle maybe once a day

She could always use the Playtex Drop-Ins system. They have breast milk storage bags that double as liners for quicker, cleaner use:
