Is it time for new Nuremberg trials?

This is the outline of the Law passed for Nuremberg.

(1945 to 1949 (a) Crimes against Peace: namely, planning, preparation, initiation or waging of a war of aggression, or a war in violation of international treaties, agreements or assurances, or participation in a Common Plan or Conspiracy for the accomplishment of any of the foregoing;

(b) War Crimes: namely, violations of the laws or customs of war. Such violations shall include, but not be limited to, murder, ill-treatment or deportation to slave labour or for any other purpose of civilian population of or in occupied territory, murder or ill-treatment of prisoners of war or persons on the seas, killing of hostages, plunder of public or private property, wanton destruction of cities, towns, or villages, or devastation not justified by military necessity;

(c) Crimes against Humanity: namely, murder, extermination, enslavement, deportation, and other inhumane acts committed against any civilian population, before or during the war,14 or persecutions on political, racial, or religious grounds in execution of or in connection with any crime within the jurisdiction of the Tribunal, whether or not in violation of domestic law of the country where perpetrated.)

So I would say there is a very strong case against many people including Tony Blair!

I agree with Feliks - except you don't have to restrict it to the dock they were seated in. You could include the U-shaped table containing the prosecutors, the witness box, the "Bench" and the specific Justices seats... Also - if you want to get tricky - you could show the back door through which the prisoners were led into and from the courtroom directly to Spandau Prison. There are many pictures showing exactly who sat where - including the translators, the reporters, the witnesses, et al. Use a large sheet of heavy board and place these objects on it. Go to any toy store for inexpensive chairs, tables, etc. You can make anything else you need just by using paper and tape.

..On this war, there is proof that there never was proof for justification of this war. Yet, many support it due to the fact that 'we all' benefit from it. Therefore, a 'Nuremburg Trial Version', would be an err. It is not of our time or orignation, however, some of those rulings can be used as presedence, not as interpretted for such.

However, some sort of tribunal should be conducted accordingly by the International Court - which I believe should be conducted by a neutral third party - hhmm, Switzerland maybe.

The Bushies laugh at Germany's impending War Crimes trials of Bushco and Rummy. They like to say "It'll never happen"

The fact is, it is part of Germany's constitution that it MUST investigate and prosecute ANY War Crimes complaint that reaches it whether that person is a citizen of Germany or not.

The investigation part is already over, They already have the proof of war crimes commited by Bushco. The Germans are wisely waiting for Bush et al to leave office so they are no longer protected by "Presidential Office" and are only private citizens.
