Not that I know of, best reasonable answer I can think of that the child's gifted.

my kids toys do that all the time in my case its cause my son trows them of the stairs and just up in the air for no reason and that causes the toy to break and get the wires that are inside all twisted which can cause for them to go of unexplained one time one toy went on and on till the next day I had to put it in a plastic tub and in a storage room just so didn't have to hear it all night...
