Saving Workgroup password?

Okay, I have 2 computers one is windows vista(Desktop) and windows xp(Laptop). I have both of them connected through a workgroup but every time I turn off my laptop and turn it back on it loses the workgroup password. So my question is-is they a way to allow my laptop to save the password and connect to the workgroup everytime someone turn it on?

Update:

Let me add some more details. For me to logon to windows vista from windows xp it requires me to logon with an administrator password. So my question is how can i save the admin password on my xp computer so it will automatically connect to my vista computer.

Update 2:

That's the thing, it doesn't have a check box to check off save password.

Joining a Workgroup does not require a password, but does require the user to be an administrator. So, I'm not sure what password you're talking about.
