how do you switch back to internet explorer six from 7. i HATE IT. my mom downloaded it by mistake.?

Well, it is quite simple actually.

It is true that IE 7 runs slower, not unless you are using a windows Vista. Anyway, here is how to downgrade back to IE6.

For windows XP, start> control panel> (if you are looking at a blue background) click on SWITCH TO CLASSIC VIEW on the left side) and the background should now turn in to white> on the white background of control panel, normally it is the third icon, click on ADD/REMOVE programs. Look for Microsoft Internet Explorer 7, or Internet Explorer 7. Click on REMOVE. You won't have to be alarmed cause it won't totally remove IE on your computer. It will just remove IE7, and would bring back your default IE browser version which is IE6.

For windows 2000, ME, 95, or 98, click start> settings> control panel> add/remove programs.
