Those symbols on the sides of the field is the Gillette Stadium logo. It is the bridge and lighthouse that stands as the stadium’s signature marking.

Heh yeah its the stadium logo like everyone's said
They really need to draw a new one for next year, though....with the flat grey color and the shape, it always looked to me more like a pair of calipers than anything else.

LOL, i was asked that by a Patriots fan too. (I am a Bears fan) Even there fans dont know what it is, but if you have ever seen there Stadium it is just a poor drawing of the walkway at the end of one of the Endzones. Patriots fans dont know it cause they dont pay attention to their surroundings, like the refs that have their back.
