Where are all the people?

..that claimed the Giants hurt themselves by going all out against the Pats in that game a few weeks ago.

Personally, I thought it helped them...but my view was very unpopular at the time.

Update:

Wow, very respectable answers so far...I am impressed.

You know the sports talking heads right away talked about how the 2 teams that played full tilt to the end going into the playoffs are the only ones standing.

I didnt hear too many people say that when Colts and Cowboys lost - although I did start to hear murmurings. Goes to show, the ones that took it easy instead of playing football - they ended up going home.

This kind of mentality will permeate into the other teams - the ones that truly mean business. I think there's no hope for teams like the Bengals who service a bunch of primadonnas though.

But the sports pundits were all talking about how Coughlin shouldve rested his starters and blah blah blah. I think Belicheck and Coughlin (old NYG family tree coaches) are going to prove the league wrong - and take the NFL to a new level.

Giants will put up another good fight and it'll be a great Superbowl to watch. The result will still be a Pat victory, but a great Superbowl nonetheless.

it did help them, and they've made an unprobably run to the SB, but the Patriots will adjsut to that close game in week 17, and win by at least 10 points, but I do give credit to the Giants for getting this far.

I thought it was going to hurt them, I was totally wrong. That is why I am stilling here slamming Coughlin for being an idiot and he is going to the SB. Go figure.

Well, according to Skip Bayless on ESPN First Take... Tom Coughlin killed any and all chance for them in the Super Bowl...

I hate Skip Bayless and hope the Giants crush the Pats and end their (cheating) streak!!
