Question about the movie Juno?

Yes, the movie was funny. But did any1 else want to punch the dialogue in the face? I mean, did EVERYTHING Juno have to say be so hilarious? cant anybody in that movie have a normal conversation? She was going through a pretty serious situation, yet the charcters were unable to hold a serious set of dialogue. yeah it was a comedy, but did every line have to be a punchline? i dont know, but every conversation semmed so...written. anybody feel the same way?

Yeah I agree I don't hate the movie but geez I don't know any 16 year old that talks like that. Do people really think we talk like that... all the time. Geez... and I hated the ending I wanted something random like for her and that old married guy to get together, I would have remember that.

She has to find the right words to joke and not face responsibility for her shameful prosmiscuity, and just so eager to wash away her sins and guilt so quickly away. She wants to impress upon the viewers that babies are like Barbie dolls, so easily discaded into another home. Oh yes, her final choice: the nincompoop to carry on her sexual activities instead of the baby. Happy, happy ever after!

It's definitely a great film to tell the teens today to go along with their sexual fun and promiscuity as it's just as easy and fun to throw away their babies after birth.

Have you all been watching NBC's program about those corrupt and evil adoption agencies where babies are being abused? Thank God for those Pro-life activists... it's certainly wonderful to get babies delivered out of their mamas' wombs as long as there's no necessity to have to see if these babies are really safe and secured thereafter. Adoption businesses sure are nice, profitable businesses... $25,000 a piece!

Im glad it is the way it is. If they took it too seriously, it wouldve turned into some other drama with a pregnancy. Ive seen it too many times. The comedy in it makes it what it is. A great movie!!

    I do agree.

Even though every conversation was 'meant' to be funny, i didnt find nearly anything she said funny. I agree that every conversation seemed written and rehearsed.
