Hi, have been wanting to buy FFXI but im not sure if it is totally online game or is their a single player story? I dont have my PS2 connected to the internet so if it was only online it would be wasted

Yes, Final Fantasy XI is a massively multiplayer online RPG.
So it's online only, designed for thousands of players at once. If you want to get it, get it on the PC. You get the first month with the game, but then you have a monthly fee after that.
