The word "recession"...?

is buzzing in everyone's ear right now.

Do you believe that an economic recession is on the horizon??

If so, do you feel this will directly affect you, and how do you intend on managing your life until the economy picks up again??

We may be in a recession sometime in the short-term, but in the long-term I think things will be fine. In the interim, I plan to keep saving at least up to 4-6 months of expenses as a rainy-day fund, and fortunately my employer has been very proactive regarding inflation and keeping annual raises above the level of inflation.

As for everyone else, I also encourage people to save and live on less than what they make so that they don't get into a financial hole. And if you are an investor, don't bail out on investments right now just because the market has been sour. Now's the perfect opportunity to buy low because once the market picks up again (which it will), it will have been a steal once the price skyrockets.

Our entire way of life will be ending soon. Our standard of living has been way too high for way too long, and now the dollar will collapse and we will be brought down to the level which we should be.
