  • bearded dragon bulging eyes, twitching eyes, and puffing beard while basking?

I've done a lot of internet research about everything I mentioned in my question, however nothing specific came up. I have a 2yr old male bearded. He eats 5-10 dusted crickets daily, and I try to hand feed him greens. This morning, I bathed him for about 10-15mins, took him out, and he pooped all over me! Haha. It was runny and brownish/green. I then fed him crickets, and he sat on his rock under his basking lamp (it's about 10-12 inches away). Hew starting twitiching his eyes, the bulged them out for a few seconds. Then he started puffing his beard in & out. He's never done this in front of me before, and I'm a first time beardie owner. Anyone have any advice or similar experience?

  • Asteroids??

    Thought this was interesting:

I just read on Yahoo!News that the asteroid known as 2007 TU24 will pass by the earth next week on Tuesday at 334,000 miles above the earth's surface. I also read another chilling article (on NASA's site) about asteroid 1999 AN10 that will pass by even closer in 2027 (19,000 miles above the Earth's surface). If it passes the earth in a certain way, it COULD possibly return in 2039 "as an impacting trajectory".

What are your thoughts on this?? Any thought is a good thought ;-)

  • Home schooling: Is it for religious reasons or personal reasons?

After watching a very popular documentary on the overwhelming amount of evangelical children that are home schooled in the US, I started to question the motives of the parents that home school their children. Is it something that is fueled by your religious beliefs, if so what is your reasoning, and what do you hope that it secures for your children? If it's for other personal reasons that have nothing to do with your religious preference, then why have you chosen to home school your child or children? For both parties, what are the pros and cons?

  • A dream from the previous night disturbs you all day??

I often have dreams with reoccurring themes, and most of my dreams are filled with anxiety, apprehension, and fear. I remember most of my dreams, and I try to be consistent with a dream journal so that I can interpret the underlying meanings. However, sometimes my dreams are disturbing enough to keep me thinking about them all day. I was wondering if any of you experience vivid memories of dreams that truly disturb you, and continue to disturb you for the day(s) after??

  • Does starting a fight with your significant other make you feel like you're in control??

While growing up in an extremely combative environment, I'm used to constant fighting and arguing. My mother is someone who loves to argue, for the sake of arguing, and will not quit until you fight back, and she won't just let you walk away.

I'm convinced I've recreated the environment I know so well, and as a result my relationship with my boyfriend of four years, is suffering. It definitely goes both ways, but sometimes I feel like the one in control if I provoke the fight first, and if I get to have the last word. When he starts the fight, I often become reserved and guarded, and keep quiet, as if responding would give him the control. We have communicative issues, and we're working on it. I was just wondering if there is anyone else out there who feels like control is an issue when it comes to confrontation in their own relationships?

  • All in Favor of banning..?

    "Am I Pregnant" questions???

Whatever happened to taking a pregnancy test??

Stop asking us if you're pregnant because:

    a) you missed your period

    b) you're showing signs of pregnancy (i.e. weight gain, cravings, cramping, etc.)

My philosophy, when in doubt, take the test!

SO with that said, who wants to NEVER see another "am i pregnant" question again??

  • Sunday-Starter begininng new birth control pack a week late!?

I just finished my last pack of Yaz birth control pills, last Sunday, December 9th, and I have yet to purchase my new pack. To spare you the long story, I will just say that there was extreme miscommunication with the pharmacy, and I was unable to pick up my new pack last Sunday. It is now a week later, and I have not started my new pack, and I won't be able to pick up my new pack until tomorrow. Can I resume taking my new pack, even though I am a Sunday-Starter, or do I have to wait to start a new pack?? Help, please. Thank you in advance!
