"Am I Pregnant" questions???

Whatever happened to taking a pregnancy test??

Stop asking us if you're pregnant because:

a) you missed your period

b) you're showing signs of pregnancy (i.e. weight gain, cravings, cramping, etc.)

My philosophy, when in doubt, take the test!

SO with that said, who wants to NEVER see another "am i pregnant" question again??

Hell Yeah !!! I am sick of it to. Geesh if I thought I might be pregnant I sure in the hell would not come on here and ask someone who is not going to know. My azz would be at Walmart buying a test !!!

I agree it can get pretty old. But I do also remember panicking and wanting to reach out to others who had been there. However, questions like "I'm x days late, am I pregnant?" DO annoy me, for the simple reason that by this point you can already buy a pregnancy test and see for yourself!

I myself asked the same thing when I first got here :) Well, I showed a picture of my HPT, anyway, to see if that faint second line meant a positive.

I think a good solution would be to establish a whole new board. Dedicate this one to pregnancy related questions (you've already taken the test and confirmed you're pregnant), and then a new one could be set up for those who have questions about symptoms, ovulation, etc. before they're able to take a HPT.

That way they have the peace of mind of having a better idea, and we don't have to see such repetitive threads.

Not only do the ask AM I PREGNANT! Some of them never had sex or came close. I hate when its a young kid who has no clue about sex or getting pregnant.

I agree!!! Just don't click on them and answers!

    Let it stop!

TAKE A TEST!!!! EVERY ONE CAN COME UP WITH A $1 BEFORE TAX! OR GO TO A FREE CLINIC!

    GREAT POST

  • Okay, I understand where you are coming from. But I asked the same question. And if it was not for the help of you all on this board. I would have waited longer to take the test. So I don't think its so bad.

I just dont like the, I am on birth control, and me and my boyfriend had oral sex. Can I be pregnante.

Or the I had sex the day after my period. And there period is not due for another 3 weeks. And they ask if they could be pregnante.

    Those are stupid questions.

But the ones about being late, having a negative, is there still a chance.

Or is it to soon to test is good.

    I agree....

However, when I was TTC, I asked all the same annoying questions. "My last period was this day, I had sex this day, what are the chances that I got preg?" And all the patient women out there graciously answered me.

I just ignore those types of questions and try to understand that a lot of women have the same concerns, hence the repeat questions.

That seems to be all this area is for anymore. It's getting really annoying. I wish they'd just test and get it over with.
