Nuva Ring Beginner Frightened by Recent Internet Findings! Help?

I just started using the Nuva Ring today, and while doing my internet research, I have found some very startling information. What has been your experience with the Nuva Ring?

    I've only been on it for a month and so far, so good. My period has been heavy but my body is still adjusting. I think I may have found out the same information you did....did you see about a lawsuit where a woman died because of blood clots and she smoked? That was enough to make me quit smoking.

    I'm just wondering what information you found.

    seems to me you need to be having a heart to heart with your doctor.
