Weekend Away? Something romantic? Birthday present?

I want to take my girlfriend away for at a weekend in the middle of February, London show, weekend cottage in lakes, anything really.

Anyone got any good ideas for a nice overnight stay away. Or something we could do?

    Have a look at www.bayhouselakeview.co.uk,

This is up in the Lake District, right in the centre of Bowness on Windermere, overlooking the lake. Quite a nice little guest house, within walking distance of the town with its bars and restaurants, and obviously, easy access to the Lake.

We've had quite a few weekends here, and its lovely....really cosy. Enjoy!!

    Try either here:

    http://www.thecross.co.uk/

    or here:

    http://www.bunchrew-inverness.co.uk/

Both of which will give you a lovely Scottish highland retreat, fresh air and great food. The London-Inverness train goes through Kingussie, or you could always fly to Inverness.

right now easy jet, have really cheap one way tickets to places abroad, how about a over night stay in prague, or spain, sitting at a table overlooking the sea, palm trees, followed by a love-in night, +champangne flying home say in the afternoon try that. better than cold miserable england.
