4 AnswersOther - Sports1 decade agoUnusual cigarette dispenser for the film Sleeper?
Can any one please help? Many years ago I saw a film (Woody Allen's Sleeper, I think) in which a doctor offered a cigarette from a sprung dispenser that popped up to allow the cigarettes to fan out. I'd really like to track one down but don't know where to start.
Does anyone know what they are called, who made them or where I might find one?
Many thanks for any help.

Thanks.

When I was a kid you could get a fitting for the light (usually for above a table) that allowed you to lift or pull down on the light shade and it would hold it in place.
Does anyone know what they were called? Are they still available?could

I know one or two boycotted the opening ceremony in a half hearted and compromised moral stand, but have any actually refused to attend and compete?

5 AnswersEngineering1 decade agoWhy is my laptop slower on the internet?
I have a wireless broadband connection at home. Originally when either my brother or I used our laptops with it, they were both quick. Recently I have found that when on Youtube watching clips or when downloading, that my laptop has become very slow and the clips seem to stall a lot. My brothers is just as fast as it was, so it's not the router or connection at that end.
I've looked for some advice and have run a disk clean up and downloaded both a disk cleaner and firefox to use instead of Internet Explorer, but they haven't helped.
I have plenty of disc space and no more ideas. Can anyone please help?
Thanks
6 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoHow can I bounce e mail?
Is it possible to bounce e mail back when my Yahoo account receives it from a specific account. I don't want to use the block feature as this simply deletes it and I would like it to bounce back to the sender marked as undelivered.
Any help much appreciated. Thanks.

I'm looking for a cheap laptop for my girlfriend. She needs it for work, with wifi and internet etc, but would like a DVD and CD writer on it too. Nothing too fancy or powerful is needed as she says she won't use most of it.

3 AnswersAmusement Parks1 decade agoiPhone hanged? Please help.?
I have just been installing the Cydia package on my iPhone (1.1.4 jailbroken with ZiPhone). During the installation I received a text and a phone call or two and ultimately my phone auto locked, closing the installer mid installation. The phone is working fine now but if I return to installer it appears to still be downloading the package. This doesn't seem to be the case and has been the status for an age. I can't use installer or quit the install in order to try again.
Has it done any damage and how do I get past this?
Thanks

When I was young, maybe 20 years ago, I remember picking strawberries that were (in my mind at least) much nicer than those you can buy today in the supermarket. They also hulled properly when you took the tops off.
I'd like to grow some at home and wondered if anyone knows whether a good old variety might be available anywhere.
Please help, I'm completely useless.
P.S. This will be the first thing I've ever planted.
