iPhone hanged? Please help.?

I have just been installing the Cydia package on my iPhone (1.1.4 jailbroken with ZiPhone). During the installation I received a text and a phone call or two and ultimately my phone auto locked, closing the installer mid installation. The phone is working fine now but if I return to installer it appears to still be downloading the package. This doesn't seem to be the case and has been the status for an age. I can't use installer or quit the install in order to try again.

Has it done any damage and how do I get past this?

    You need to go into the MENU then SETTINGS and scroll down to RESTORE TO FACTORY SETTINGS!

    hold in the top button for 10 seconds and reboot your iPhone

    Restore it through itunes and start again.
