How do I take notes in language courses?

I know there's the Cornell method for normal lectures and readings.

But how about learning a foreign language?

I've tried many methods which left me with a bunch of scattered papers and no system of going about it.

Just random vocabulary and grammar tips here and there.

Please help.

    Well they are teaching vocabulary and grammar, so that is generally what you take notes on.

    However, if there are any irregular nouns/verbs etc, or strange pronunciations, they are important too.

    Other than that there isn't really much to language classes.
