I have a Nikon speedlite flash with 4 terminals. Can I use this on a digicam with 5 terminals on the hotshoe?

Update:

Yes, it is predigital, SB15. Was wondering if if could use it on a rebel xti? How do you check for the trigger voltage?

Probably won't hurt it, I think the voltage on the SB15 was under 5 (not that it would hurt to research it), but you won't get any metered functions and it might not work at all.

For around $100 you can get an off brand flash from B&H that will give you full function - I'd go that route.
