ok so i was playing xbox today and some british people herad me talking and start calling me a "McDonalds muncher" and i dont get it. why would they think that is the most offending thing ever.

Because in many other countries a lot of people think of Americans as obese people who drink soda and eat fast food all day. I played field hockey in Holland and stayed with a host family in Amsterdam. When I got there they kept on telling me how welcome I was and how I was going to be so comfortable in their house. Well I got there and they said there was a McDonald's about 5 minutes from where they lived and they had stocked the fridge with Coke. They were floored when I said I didn't drink soda or eat fast food. I might as well have told them that I smoke crack and pee my pants. It would've been less shocking.

McDonalds can be found in almost any country. So its a pointless insult. They were probably drunk.
