What is a wet and set that they do at a hair salon?
I was talking on the phone with a hairdresser and she was telling me that before they do my weave they would give me a wet and set...but what is a wet and set???

ok i think you may be calling it the wrong thing. a wet set is usually when we wet the hair and set it in rod(hard rollers basically) then put you inder the dryer and when its done it looks like shirlley temple curls. now because you said your getting a weave i am assuming your not getting it sewn in. so that means she will wash and arap your hair while it is wet. then once it is hard and dry she will probably keep the top paper on it. then she will begin to place/glue the tracks to your hair. this way you will be able to take it off when when you go to sleep. they call it a wig cap. this process is usally referred to as a mold. cause they have your hair molded under the weave. hope this helped......

hmm I think it is when they wrap your hair after they wash it and put you under a blow dryer. I think!
