Is there a way to buy a new cell phone without getting a new plan?

If it helps, I have the T-Mobile family plan with 1000 minutes.

    Buy from ebay. Or purchase the phone at full price direclty from the provider (which is VERY expensive). I recommend ebay or another third-party website.

    I was JUST logging on to ask this very question!! I hate purchasing cell phones from the provider. They rip you off and make you extend. And then, with T Mobile, if y ou order a new phone online, there is an $18.00 upgrade fee. What the heck is that???? Crooks.

    buy it from the store at full price, then put your sim card in it
