My internet works for 5 mins. then when i'm visting a web page and click on a link it says can't reach the se

I have highspeed cable internet, and when i try reaching the link that doesn't work on one of my other computers it works. My computer is still connected to my network, because i can still connect to another computer with remote desktop. My anti viresus (symantic antiviruses 10.2 corp.) does not detect any viruses so i'm unsure of whats wrong. I've checked my host files and nothing has been modified, and i've also uninstalled a few of my recent programs thinking that they were causing the problem
