You need to choose to read the Bible, and pray daily.

Importantly too, you need to be connected to The Body Of Christ, a church. Only in a church would you be able to encourage others and be encouraged by other christians' growth, passion and fire. Fire spreads! Burning charcoals cannot stay out of the charcoal pit for too long!

Yes. My dearest friends in church have in many times helped me in my walk with God, when I wanted to give up, or when I fell. WIthout them encouraging me, I would not be an area leader of 100 youths today! Praise God!

Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, and once I realised that growth just started to happen. One day you ll be talking to a friend or at a bible study and a question will come up and that answer God will bring to your memory, through something you have read or heard at church, and you ll answer that question. It doesn't happen over night but boy it blows your mind when you realise that God has been doing things all along. So to answer your question spiritual growth happens from the time your saved, but it may take a while to realise it.

Spiritual growth begins first with believing and following Jesus Christ. We do this through faith. From then on our spirituality grows and matures through: prayer, sharing the blessings of our spirituality with others, being students of the word of God, giving God glory and praise through speech, actions, songs and music.

Spiritual growth starts with understanding the scriptures. One first learns about how the earth was made then the garden then the fall of man etc. As you contunue to learn, you continue to grow in knowledge. That is spiritual growth.

You have to want to spiritually grow before you begin and this comes from reading the Bible and praying.

If you're asking this, it may be that your spirit is already being awakened--or "quickened," as the Bible says. If so, may I suggest that you look around in your area for a solid Bible-rooted church, where your awakening spirit will find good nourishment?
