Does anyone here use Slingbox ? Is it good ? Do you recommend it ?

I just heard about it the other morning, Any Pros or cons ?

    Yes.

    My husband uses this with his father. He has it set up so his father can receive cable overseas. The picture is pixelated and not as clear as a TV but it is convienent. Expecially if you have it set up to a DVR where you can record the stations you want.

    The only issue is if you do not have acess to the Slingbox you may be with out cable and service when there are glitches. If you are using this for business travel, then it should be no problem as at the worst you may have to reset the box and cable when IP adresses drop. This is all what my husband has told me.

    All in all he reccomends it but do not expect HD quality, and their could be a little latency involved depending on your internet connection.
