Help with heat...?

I have a ComPak-10 package unit... natural gas. I am having a problem with it cutting off after about 40seconds. I am sure it is the sensor, and i would like to clean it myself. I can not seem to locate it. I do not have the paper work on the unit, and I was told the sensor was by the pilot light. We have an ignitor, and i am not sure where is the sensor.

Could anybody help me? I can't really afford right now having someone come out, i have to try to do this myself. I just need help with the location of the sensor.

I would love to see a diagram or picture of a similar unit with directions on what to do.

Thanks...

i can not seem to find the manufacturer online. I have typed in "compak" "compak heating" "compak 10" even the serial number, and i am coming up cold. I have found the model on ebay, but that was no help either.

Wow. I consider myself a pretty good web searcher type person. Plus, I work in the HVAC industry.

And I can't find anything at all about this unit (except for a couple of user forums where people talk about not being able to find anything about this unit.)

It looks like Compak is actually produced by Armstrong or Lennox. I'd try browsing through any manuals I can find on the Lennox web site - just to see if your unit bears any resemblence to anything else currently available. I've put a link below to the commerical equipment section on the Lennox web site.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck!

What is the model number and serial number. Usually some of the off the wall names are comanies that have bought units from a large manufacture and put their name and sticker on it. With the model number I will be able to determine who the actual manufacture is and should be able to help you from there.
