TU24, will it really do the damage predicted?

volcanic eruptions, earth quakes, deadly stroms, killer waves, and even cause ruptures in the ice of both north and south poles?

Don't worry friend, nothing will happen. These people are scum who try to make others scared for no reason. I personally was in a panic until I was told by several credible sources that it poses no threat what so ever.

It's all bogus, the rock will pass by us and do nothing, all those "Eruptions" and such, would be happening right now if it were true.

You've been listening to hogwash..! Do yourself a favor and watch the video at this website by an accredited astronomer, not a bunch of loonies running around yelling that the sky is falling ==>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6fXpfE_D20&eurl=ht...

    Hello saph -

TU24 is passing by at a distance farther than the Moon. It will not have the slightest effect on us. Besides, it would have occurred already, and it didn't. (EDIT: my error - still 3 hours away - ref. info provided by B.) But don't worry - and don't listen to people that try to scare you for no reason. I'm glad you asked.

It's been and gone six hours ago. Do you notice anything different? I don't.

    Expect the same in 2012.

It already passed. Do you see any volcano erupting? Do you feel earthquakes? Deadly storms?

    OK

    No damage was done.

    Bad prediction.

It might help if it actually hit something. Which it won't.

A rock that won't hit is a rock that won't do damage.
