Christians What do you think Jesus meant by saying For I the son of man am master even of the sabbath?

From my understanding the Pope took it upon himself to change the day of worship and rest in Jesus presence from saturday to sunday, and we as first day church goers were taught that Jesus became our Sabbath and we can rest in him at anytime,But who gave the pope the right to change Gods Law when God said himself Do not take from my word or add anything to it,now for centuries we as christians worship on Sunday and it was taught that it was a convienent day to come together,God is not a God of convience he always asked for a sacrifice from us,now I feel that even though Jesus gave us the infilling of the holy spirit and a personal relationship with him to be able to access spiritual rest and we can worship him at any time that still does not change his word I feel all denominations should go back to keeping Gods commandments and that means going to worship on Saturday ,whats your opion?

Update:

I also feel that the sunday worship was set up as satans deception for there are going to make the sunday Law come into effect and thats going to be the only day of worship, and if you worship on any other day you will be killed, but nowhere in the bible does it state that sunday the first day of the week is the sabbath day.We as Sunday goers Celebrate his resurrection that still not biblical for the sabbathday. And when the Sunday Law comes in we are going have to make a choice whats yours?

Update 2:

To obey Gods word Or pick the day of convience?

Update 3:

I did Neglect to add the Catholic pope acknowledged that he changed it for he felt he had the right to,and was in postition to do so .

You need to take a look at this article:

    www.truthorfables.com/Pope_Did_Not_Change_Sabbath_Sunday.htm

Also, you are making the same mistake the Pharisee Christians made regarding the old covenant law.

    1. You cannot be held to the conditions of a covenant that you were never a party to.

    2. That covenant ended and was replaced by the new covenant.

Then new covenant is about the spirit of the law, and not the letter.

What you are trying to conclude is a deception. The apostle Paul was constantly having to deal with those of the circumcision who were coming along after him teaching the Gentiles they had to keep the law. The law is contrary to the gospel.

Worshipping on Saturday, Sunday, or Wednesday, will not alter your inheritance of the kingdom of God. Accept Christ as your Savior, follow His principles, and commandments, outside of this....equals different denominations. Getting overtaken by the "laws" is not what doing Christ's work is about, even Christ got in trouble with the Pharisees for "working" on the Sabbath while healing. As long as you take the time to have that personal tlc with Christ, reserve that as your "Sabbath,"if you can't honor the Sat/Sun, He understands.
