what is best to repair tears in the fabric of my himax ultralight?
the wings of my ultralight airplane are covered with a poleyester fabric called dacron they were damaged during transport and have eight inch tears in them I need to know how to repair them safely

whatever the material is you need more of it then you need to patch it on both sides maybe sew it up this way it will be stronger than before

Tezative Fabric Adhesive or any other fabric adhesive . With the one I mentioned you pull the material together. Sprinkle some powder around and on the site and then a piece of light matrial and read the instructions from there on. Used it many times and have no complaints. Before you buy it check any box first to see if it works with the material you want to put it on.
