How do you make a four-banger sound good?

Add four more cylinders.

Had a honda that I put a header on and it sounded good. As long as you keep a resonator in the exhaust system, it wont get that fart can sound. When people cut those out and just go for the big muffler, they get annoying. Ask a local tuning shop, advice is free.

even though those cars run pretty good for what they are it will always sound like a 4 banger no matter what you do to it, watch for the 08 cobalt SS coming out soon with 260 horse.

Anybody out there know how to make my weed eater sound good and not sound like a four banger. Never gona happen dude should've gotn the V8.

I would have to start my say, buy a V8, but on a real not, if you do not have a CAI (cold air intake) consider this also. Make sure you get one designed for that car since it does have a SC on it. A little back pressure is needed, but the less the better. If you want to go extreme, get a system header back, or for something more simple go for cat-back.

the turbo or modded fours are great cars for drifting, and the drivers have probably steered(pun intended) towards drifting than racing, as for front wheel drive people have probably found out theyre ****..... dont know how it is there but here in aus the fours are drifters and with racing its a mix of everything, but yes i have noticed not many fours, but yh drift is the only reason i can think of.

Put a V-8 in it, I'v never heard a 4 cyl. that sound good.
