How can we get Yahoo to fix this Problem?

I ask a question and it was entered into a catagory I did not want it in. I deleted the question.

It cost me 5 points to ask the question, - 2 points to delete it

.

I changed the category myself to the one I wanted but when I edited my question, the question was put into another catagory that I did not want it to be in and I did not catch it

.

When I ask the same question again it will cost me another 5 points. That is 12 points it cost me for a question

because Yahoo change my catagory.

How can we get Yahoo to fix this proplem?

Update:

Plus it cost me another 5 points to ask this question. Therefore to get the question ask I wanted to ask in the first place is costing me 17 points.

5 for the first question

2 to delete it

5 for this question

5 to ask my first question again

Well, I've not had them change categories on me, yet. But I am really careful when posting my Q that I do take the few seconds extra to be sure I've selected the category myself. Otherwise YA will do that for me, select the category.

And, no worries about points here, they pile up anyway. This is all, as a wise top contributor told me once in answer to a similar Q, just a process, keep being part of the process and over time you will have so many points it won't matter to you in the least. It was also suggested that I not take it too personally here, and just keep on keeping on, politely and respectfully. This person understood how I felt and acknowledged the 'injustice' - and that meant alot to me.

I think YA is doing the best it can given the circumstances under which it operates. I'm going to ask a Q about pop-up ads on YA, let's see what happens with those answers.....

In regards to points, here's how it works for me:

+10 for BA and +1 for thumbs up up to 50 on a BA = 10+

    - 5 for asking a Q

+3 for selecting BA to my Q

    -2 for deleting a Q I posted

    +2 for my A to a Q

+1 for voting on an open Q

So I usually get busy answering and voting until I've made my 'points' back for the Qs I've asked, etc.

I've also gotten minus12 points for reported 'violations'. I've also had my BA removed and all the points that went with it (10 + thumbs) when another Q got reported. (By the way, my 'violations' were most unfair, but it only takes two to report - and I just reposted my Qs, slightly reworded and sometimes into another section - and I've survived and am on my way to level 5 now).

Sometimes, I post a similar Q to more than one category because I want different people's input and that is the way to reach more people.

I truly hope this helps and you stay with YA.

And unless this Q gets deleted I GET 2 PTS FOR ANSWERING - yipee.

Thanks for an interesting Q. You get a star too :)

    :) It's a beautiful day.

Yahoo is experiencing some technical difficulties. We are working hard to fix the problem.Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.LOL They must be on a coffee break-I'm starting to think they go to Columbia for coffee. Why don't they just say coffee vacation? This is getting ridiculous- I miss your girls too!

You cannot get them to fix it. They have teams of people to employed and they need work to do, so they continuously try to find things to improve. Unfortunately Yahoo spends so much time inproving that they don't seem to have repairs in the budget.

I wish they would stop trying to improve and fix what they have but it seems they don't care.
