Who is the best Enforcer NOW not ever just right now?

Who is the best enforcer in the league today? I don't want to know the best ever, just right now? I have my thoughts . . . but before I sway your vote . . . who do you think?

Update:

Just based on the enforcer part, I don't care if they can pass, score, or even skate for that matter!

George Laraque = uneccesary penalty mins= team handicap

I'd have to say McGratton ( Ottawa Senators) is the best Enforcer to date!

he out-punched Laraque on Thanksgiving's game against the Pens, BUT Laraque overpowered him with his strength

McGRATTON = BEST OVERALL NHL ENFORCER

Well I would have to say Pronger but I do believe that McCarty is on his way back up... he was playing for a UHL team and he'll be back with the wings soon and then its all out cuz he's playing damn good.... he started slow to get in shape and I saw his first game back in Flint.... It was a pretty good showing, give him some time he showed Adam Foote who's boss several times... remember Avery and Foote.... priceless.

All round? Hockey skills and enforcer?

Brian Gionta! All the way...he is brutal!

  • Chara, because he DOESN'T have to fight. He's already proved his point and gets the respect.
