How do I open a .docx file? I tried Microsoft Word. Doesnt work.?

The .docx files are written with word 2007 replacing the .doc used with the older word programs. You will have to get a converter to read it with an older version or get word 2007.

.docx is the MS Word file extention used in MS Office 2007 & MS Office for Mac 2008. If your running an old version of MS Word (prior to the 07 version) tell sender they need to re-save the doc as an older version so you can open & read.
