Why is everyone on the Giants bandwagon?
Ok, the Patriots are about to be the first team to go 19-0, and everyone keeps talking as if they are the underdogs to the Giants...
That makes no sense to me, I mean, I dont think the Patriots are going to let the opportunity to go undefeated leave them.
Am I the only one that remembers that the Giants were just mediocre in the regular season, and they only won the playoff games because their opposing teams didnt seem to play their hardest...

Well, no matter how people act, the Giants are the underdog, and people love an underdog.
Plus, the Patriots were pretty much hated by every other NFL team this year, so a lot of people want to see them lose.

Maybe because the Giants get to the SB in a streak.
I mean take a look at the Patriots at the beginning of the year, they crashed everyone but for the last few games they have looked vulnerable and even beatable.
Giants went to Dallas and Green Bay and earned very hard road wins against tough home teams, aside from the fact that they almost ruined the patriots perfect season. On top of all, people always root for the underdog. Not me...even though I hate the Patriots, I want to see history being made.
I can feel it this is going to be a great SB

The Giants are on a roll, and when u get on a roll people tend to think it will keep going, that it is destiny, etc. Well they ought to ask the Superchargers because the Superchargers had won 8 straight games leading up to their meeting with the Patriots.
You also have the anti-patriot sentiment out there that is pulling for the giants, kind of like last year when pats fans hoped the bears would upend the colts, how did that work out?

I think the reason people keep on jumping on the bandwagon is that noone (except Pats fans) really want to see the Pats go undefeated. I mean they already won 3 in 4 years, to me and maybe to others the Pats seem like they are becoming the Yankees of football.

i dont know why but i agree. It is happening hear too. The Giants got by the Pack because Farv did not want it.. Even Dallas Cowboy fans jumped on the Giant wagon. I am a forty niner fan but, if a team can make history in my life time, let them.
GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!

They love the underdog. Just like we were when we won our first bowl over St. Louis.
Hey KC, right now Boston sports is hot, lets go back 10 years. We true Boston sports fans know what it is like to lose. With winning comes losing, and true fans know how to respond to criticism with out being mean, ugly or hateful.
I hope you are not as closed minded when your teams reach the top and have to defend them here.

That makes no sense to me either. I mean really. Look at me. I am all over the Patriots*. Everyone should by on my bandwagon.

What a bunch of fags in America today hatin on a team just cuz they are good. Pats are gonna win......Giants fans are happy like they should be, nothing against their team, they deserve to be in the superbowl, but the Pats are hands down the better football team, and I can't stand New York City anyway......It's a dirty filth ridden cesspool of disease and scum bags. Just my opinion. I live in CT, It's not much better here....believe me. GO PATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
