I need to hear some new/fresh & unique music. What do you recommend?
Seriously....I would like to add new songs to my iPod. So I am just wondering what kind of stuff people listen to or recommend.
I am pretty much open to anything. So if you can - give the title of the song along with the artist. (If possible provide a link)
(If you are going to post hip-hop/rap please come correct. I don't want to hear the latest garbage.)
Before I forget..........Big Thanks to everyone that gives a truthful reply........
If people could star this question. I would appreciate it. I would like to get as many answers as possible. I would like to get a large list of music that is varied and eccletic. So I can use for reference later one when I search for music.
Thanks again
Don't worry Timmy Toe....I am not squimish....

Definitely anything from "BOSTON"
Been discovering some cool music from Kraftwerk and Gary Numan. Also been listening to a lot of Willie Nelson, Johnny Paycheck & Johnny Cash lately.
Since Luciano Pavorotti died recently, I'm also listening to some of his songs/operas (ie. "Nessa Dorma" is a must !).
This also pulled me over to check out some old Mario Lanza songs like "Drink Drink Drink". He had an incredible voice.

I like gospel/neo-soul/old school personally. I am feeling artist like Marvin Sapp, Kurt Franklin, Fred Hammond, Lyfe, Jill Scott, Angie Stone, Lela James, Luther, Chrisette Michele, Heather Headley.....

Um,,some good songs are(in my opinion):
*Honest Mistake-The Bravery
*My Own Worst Enemy-Lit(yes it's old=]])
*The City Is At War-Cobra Starship
*Bossman-Lucky Boys Confusion
*The Way-Fastball(again, its old=])
There are a lot more that I could go on with all day. But these are really good if you like this kind of music. =]]]

I listen to hard core, and metal, so I would recomend
Kill Whitney Dead and their album Nothing Less Nothing More
and
Dillinger Escape Plan their new album, Ire Works and their previous album Miss Machine
though I wouldn't listen to them if your squimish in the topics of sex, killing, and girls being stupid C*NTS.
hey you said your open though so don't blame me if its not your thing.
