2013 Scion FR-S or Subaru BR-Z - Manual Transmission(Both are the same but whichever has the best deal)

2012 Mini Cooper S - Manual Transmission

What do you think? I was originally going to go for a hybrid to save on gas. But then I asked myself if I would enjoy it? I have been driving stick all my life. I love to drive. However, I am split on a car with more power and performance or something that saves on gas mileage.

I still want to drive something fun. Price does matter, the Subaru is nice but it's a little more than what I want to spend. My price range is 20-25K. The Subaru I found is 27K.

Why do they do that? I know sometimes it's being shy or avoiding the awkwardness of staring at someone. But this girl in our office, sometimes she will say hi or smile. Other times no. She is cute and all but she has a man. So, I have no interest.

Today as I was walking down the hall, I happened to come across her path. The polite thing to do is say, 'Hello'. As I was about to say 'Hello', she just looked away. I really don't get that...Personally, I was offended.

I am thinking of taking a vacation early next year. Amsterdam has always been on my bucket list. When is the best time to go?

Also, any ideas for vacation packages? I would be traveling alone. So far the packages I have seen are about $2000+. Is that right?

Hi there. So I am 28. Pretty much have my stuff together. It's been about 10 months since my last relationship. I figured it's time to get back to the dating scene. I have met this younger woman, 26. There is interest on both sides and an attraction. However, this is uncharted territory for me. Why? Well, she has a child. Any drawbacks, negatives in dating a woman who has a child? I am looking to date and hopefully find something serious...if it is meant to be. However, that being said, I am not ready to get married. Any advice?

Well, I am currently employed. But the company is not a good fit. I have been looking at other places. I recently did a long phone interview. Honestly, I was 50/50 with the company and didn't expect a call back. They called me yesterday, leaving a message stating they would like to schedule an onsite visit and would like me to have lunch with the rest of the IT staff. Problem is I am no interested anymore and holding out for other options. Since I have gotten quite a few calls. What is the polite and professional way of turning down this interview?

I have been at this job for a few months. However, I just don't feel like it is a good match in terms of my long term goals. The knowledge I will gain is only product related. I won't learn much else in terms of skills for my field.

I am in the field of IT/Technical Support and still trying to figure out where I want to go in the field of IT. I recently got my A+ Certification to give me leverage along with my skillset and degree. My current job pays well but I am bored.

My worries is if for some reason I get layed off, fired, or seek a new job in the future. My skill set will be dated and be at a disadvantage. I am looking for a company that can offer more growth in terms of skills.

Am I wrong for looking what else is out there?

We broke up like 3+ weeks ago. On her terms. She states that she wants to be friends. I was like whatever. Ok. Next day she starts texting me for advice and help for a job interview. Plus, she asks if she could use me as a reference but as her assistant. Being a nice guy I did. Anyways, she gets the job and calls me but she is not too excited until it becomes official. Then later on that week, she meets me for lunch. Again, I am like whatever. Although she did look great.

For 4th of July weekend I went on a vacation to San Diego. Yet, she still calls me and leaves a voicemail. Then sends me an email asking for a favor to buy some things for her on Amazon. She said she would pay me back. Being a nice guy. I followed through with the favor. Later on in the week. She calls me stating that her start date for her new job got pushed back. She sounded kind of sad. Next day her item from Amazon comes in. I dropped it off for her. I figured that would be the last I hear from her. But I gave her a card to congratule her on her new job.

Later that weekend. She texts me again for another favor. Asking me to buy some items for her on eBay and that she wanted to hang out a bit the next day. Again, being too nice I do it. Unfortunately couldn't hang out because I had to fly out of state for a work assignment. During the trip, I just decided to call her and ask her why she is asking for me to do these things. It seems kind of odd. Since, she could do it herself. Also, kind of impersonal the way she would ask. She didn't like the impersonal statement and tried to flip it on me. However, she later calls and apologizes. I bluntly ask her why is she asking me to do these things when she could do it herself. She asks as favor from one friend to another. That she she is sorry for any confusion and that we are just friends. The thing is I am stuck with the items I bought for her. What do I do now?

I have my mind made up but I just need a woman's opinion of the scenario below.

I was dating this girl for 6 months. However, she ended it last weekend. Her reasons. She felt bad for the fact that she couldn't give me the attention that I deserve. Her priorities right now are to establish herself in terms of a career and financially. She is 24, just finished college. I am 27, finished college 3 years ago, work full-time in the IT field and share an apartment with a roommate. She stated that I am an amazing guy that has gone above and beyond any other person. I really invested a lot on her because I felt something different with her. She admitted the same thing to me at one point during our relationship.

It was hard for her to say it but she just was not ready for a relationship. She stated that she really does deeply care for me but thinks it better that we remain friends. She still wants to hang out and do things.

OK. So obviously I was feeling down after that. That night before I went to sleep, I left her a long text just iterating some of my thoughts. She texts me in the morning that we will be friends and that I was too good of a person to lose. I was still like whatever. Seeing is believing. Felt like crap most of the day but still did my thing by going out. She later texts me for some advice for an interview that she had the next day. I replied to her text. Then later that night she calls me asking for some more advice.

She calls me the next day. I initially missed the call. But I later called her. I already knew what was up. She told me that they offered her a position (although not official yet because of the background check). I already knew that was going to happen...just had that feeling. She informs me that she used me as a reference. A couple of days have gone by and she is still talking to me. I am still like whatever, I am going to do my thing. Some of my people tell me to ignore her. It's kind of hard because you just don't wipe away feelings like that. Even then it's just not my style to just ignore someone that really matters to me.

My roommate told me to do a test. He told me to purposely ignore her if she calls again. The next night she calls me. I actually missed the call but not intentionally. Didn't think much of it. However, she calls me again later in the evening when I was out with my friends. I picked up the call. She asks me some general questions about the hiring process. Then she asks me what I was up too. She proceeds to tell me that she will probably see me tomorrow. That caught me off guard. I just told her to let me know before hand.

Today, I met her for lunch. I purposely arrived late. The last couple of times I saw her. She didn't really dress up. Today, she looked good. She wore a nice summer dress. Showed her legs and wore the heels that she bought when I went out shopping with her one day. We hugged each other. I commented to her that she look great. The lunch conversation was more about her. We hugged again when lunch ended. I had her come to my car because I gave her back some things she left in my apartment. I asked before she left if we were still going to hang out? She asks me when? I told her I will let her get settled first with her new job and place. But I ask again if we are still going to hang out. She said yes and then walks away. Texted her later just to iterate it was good to see her, she looked great and that I am truly happy for her. She later calls because of something related to her job. But then acknowledges my text and iterates that it was good to see me also.

What are the pros and cons of both? Does it really make a difference?

Looking to do this down the road on my car. However, I am wondering, what are the pros and con for each?

Well, I have know my friend for a lil over 3 years now. I think he is a good guy in all. But as a friend I think he should be a lil' more proactive. I mean, he is 27 and now about to finish college. While he does live on his own (sort of). He has had the luxury of his parents paying for school and such.

I have been telling him since the time I have graduated, about two years ago, to start looking for a job or internship before he graduates. He is still working at a retail store. Making about minimum wage. His friends while fun, are all in their late teens and early 20's. Furthermore, I just found out he is going out with a girl that is only 19 years old.

My reasons for being upset is the fact he is going to be 30 soon but he still lives like he is 21. I would like to think we are good friends but it's to the point, that I have kind of stop talking to him. I guess what upsets me is that he seem unmotivated.

Thinking about installing one....

Aside from the tax, how much did you pay for the paper work and fees after you were able to settle on a price and agreed on buying the car (at a dealership)?

I am recent a college graduate. This is my 1st full time job. However, it is not related to my field. I am always on the lookout for something else that is related. I just do not want to sign up as permanent and then leave immediately if/when I find the job I want. That just looks bad.

Ok so I just turned on my laptop to pleasantly greeted with two thin lines on my screen. (One is magenta and the other is cyan.) What does this mean? (I am guessing that this is bad.) Is there anything I can do? Or do I have to replace the LCD screen?

Seriously....I would like to add new songs to my iPod. So I am just wondering what kind of stuff people listen to or recommend.
