my laptop trackpad / mouse is freezing and need help please if u have ANYY idea?
i have 2 year old laptop, compaq, with a synaptics mouse device and if i leave the track pad alone for too long the mouse freezes but my system works and it doesn't over heat or anything, what i have to do to fix this is take out the battery and start it over which is kind of annoying to do,, please help if u have any idea what it is

My best guess is to go to the Control Panel and find the cursor settings to make sure it does not automatically turn off for after a certain amount of time.
Otherwise you will have to put the computer on standby when you know you will not be using the trackpad.
