    yes they should

the taliban are a danger to the west

these religious extremists should be eradicated - perhaps then unemployed community workers living on benefits in birmingham won't feel obliged to fund raise for them

and school counsellors in birmingham will stop supporting their evil doctrines

Yes they should. But the British Army needs more troops and money to effectivly wipe the Taliban out.

If a fraction of the international resources that went into Iraq went into Afganistan we would be able to have total control of the ground and be able provide security for civil contractor to begin to rebuild the country.

The amount of troops and resources that America has had to put into Iraq would stop the Taliban in Afganistan almost overnight.

There are some very dubious politics and alternative agendas working in this whole situation it's just a shame that our Army does not have the full support it needs.

I have recently heard that the Americans "demanded" that Germany send more troops and that they were expecting more from they're Nato Allies, this is coming from the nation who ignored the UN to launch an Illegal invasion of Iraq. I am totally disgusted that we followed them.

I believe that the war in Afganistan is a just cause and good luck all our troops out there - I will be joining you in the near future

No. Tell Condoleeza Rice to go home. It is now widely accepted that the Afghanistan is a failed Islamic state, run by corrupt warlords who are little better than the Taliban. Why should we spend billions propping it up when our own pensioners are living in poverty? Paddy Ashdown said "We are losing in Afghanistan", and a journalist was recently sentenced to death for distributing an article about women's rights. British troops are dying for nothing.

British troops are fighting and dieing in Afganistan, because America fell out with its old ally the Taliban.

Currently, according to eastern news media, the Taliban have all but got the coalition troops boxed in, despite their superior fire power.

They also report the Afgan people, as prefering the relative peace they had under the Taliban, to the wilfull destruction they are suffering under the coalition.

Conclution it`s time to say sorry and leave..!!
