Biggest story of the year?

Any ideas on what will be the biggest story of the year? Obviously last year it was the introduction of the C.O.T. and JR's move to Hendrick.

I think it will be the C.O.T. and it's speeds, and you can't go wrong with Tony being a big story during the year. I bet he will have some good times and some bad with the Toyota, I am just interested to see what he says when things are not going his way with it.

Anyway hit me up with your ideas for the biggest story's of the year!

I think it will be the Success of Toyota--With JGR a BIG NAME TEAM HEAVILY FINANCED--The story will be how the Toyotas perform!!!!! To see If JGR in a few month off season can fix what Mike Waltrip Racing and Bill Davis Racing couldnt fix in the 2006 off season and all of 2007s racing Season!!!!!

I think you hit the nail on the head. Tony is very outspoken and I think he will be the first Toyota in victory lane (hopefully at the Daytona 500), but I also see a little contraversy coming when he has problems with the car. I think he might get into it with Kyle once or twice also. Jr. will be in the top stories also. I think he will be in the chase and he will win at least 2 races this year. Hendrick is too strong for him not to (even though I am not a Hendrick fan).

U mentioned some great stories... BUT the Pats haven't gone 16-0 yet... they might lose... Miami isn't 0-16 yet... its the NFL u never know what's gonna happen? Last yr Miami shut out NE! So gotta take those out Don't forget the Kevin Everett story... everyone thought he was gonna be paralyzed now he's walking in and out of rehab which is amazing.. And if u weren't a Bills fan his story touched the hearts <3 of football fans everywhere... everyone said a lil prayer for him... Same for Sean Taylor.. Even if u hated the Redskins everyone had him in our hearts.... Football fans can be vicious! But when stories like that unite fans that's truly a story of the yr!

With the choices, I hope it has to do with JGR winning races or anything other that Jrs move to HMS.

After last year, that story got OLD quick. There is so much more going on than WTH Jr is doing or how DEI moved his stuff, or what have you. Dont get me wrong, I hope Jr wins some of the races, but there are 42 other guys out there every week folks. Give them some press time too.

Mark Martin driving the #8 and doing better than Junior. Since Mark's not driving a full schedule it will have to be race for race. If Mark has no blown engines, then maybe Teresa is owed an apology.

I'm sure the biggest story is Dale Jr's move to HMS, all eyes will be glued on him. Next would be the COT and how its going to perform on superspeedways and intermediate size tracks. After that it's probally going to be the qualifying procedure and the top 35. Then it will be Toyota's success or failure, and last but not least Silly season, who's coming and who's going.

Any story of any season is Dale Jr. His season with Hendrick will be this season top story.

Just like Montoya, the other open wheelers will be over talked this season.

COT running full schedule will be a big story this season.

Red Bull Racing turns last year's failures around and puts at least one car in the Chase.

I'm going the opposite way. I think it will be the disappointment of the Toyota's. Most experts pick Toyota to win at least 5 to 10 races. I don't think that will happen.
