What's a good laptop for animation?
I have a really crappy laptop right now, and will be going to college next year. I want to major in game art and animation, or if that's too specific, illustration and or animation. I was wondering what a good laptop is for animation/graphics. Preferably under $3k.

Sony Vaio FZ's are rated very high for their quality. According to Sony's site, it's made for creating and editing media, and gaming.

Vaios are high-rated in the industry for their quality and design.
Apple MacBooks are good too, but you have to deal with many issues like incompatability, among other things to deal with OS X. I know because I use them.
So I definitely recommend getting a Vaio FZ
